Our History
We are a 501(c)(3) educational gardening organization based in
Fort White, nestled at the southern tip of Columbia County in
North Central Florida.
Our home is a largely rural area, attracting those seeking a slower, simpler way of life in the midst of Florida's rapid growth.
Here, many are reconnecting with their roots—growing their own herbs, vegetables, and flowers while exploring the beauty of our natural surroundings. Gardening for Change was founded to cultivate this spirit of renewal, offering hands-on experiences and a sense of community to those ready to dig into a fresh start.
